SlipAlert was designed specifically to be easy to use and give consistent results in wet and dry that match the Pendulum. It is designed for regular testing and designed to give you the management information you need to keep floors safer and stop people falling.

Analysis of the trend graph
SlipAlert LLP will give you a guide to understanding your floors and how to analyse the trend graph. The above graph shows a rising trend indicating that over time the floor is becoming more dangerous. This could be because of wear or because of a gradual build up of dirt or contamination. You can easily test this by cleaning an area of floor and re-testing.
What action to take to prevent slips
There are often easy, low cost actions that will improve floor safety and prevent slip accidents. It may be that you need to improve your cleaning regime or cleaning materials or it may be that your floors require an occassional deep clean. Depending on the nature of your floors, we will be able to offer advice. Try our floor safety regime.
Easy Floor Testing
a) Unfold ramp and switch on SlipAlert (red light)
b) Pull SlipAlert to top of ramp (green light)
c) Release. When SlipAlert stops read SlipAlert Test Value (STV).

Use the handy SlipAlert graph to see if your floor is very safe, very dangersous, or if like most floors it will need moitoring to reduce slip risks.
The hardest part is taking it out of the box.

Test "At Risk" Floors Every week
An "at risk" floor is one that has had recorded slip accidents, one that has been treated with anti-slip or a floor that has been tested and found to be less than perfect (STV of 130 or better).
